Strategic Plan Update: Grant Received!

The Leadership Committee for the new center (name TBD) is extremely pleased to announce that the church received a $20,000 Congregational Development Grant from the Presbytery of the Twin Cities! We applied for the grant at the end of May, planning to use the money toward the salary for the part-time staff for the center, which can now be posted. We will celebrate getting the grant this Sunday, July 20 at the Ice Cream Social!

The Leadership Committee is meeting regularly, and has also met with potential partner organizations, Interfaith Action and The Center for Sustainable Justice, to explore how we will collaborate in the future. We are excited about ideas that are percolating! Committee members are Tam Ayers, Adam Blons, Margo Dickinson, Beth Kellar-Long, Janeen McAllister, Gail Morrison, Megan Voorhees, and Lauren Wood.
