Music Enrichment Steward

Macalester Plymouth United Church is seeking a Music Enrichment Steward to help our congregation experience the joy, connection, and spiritual enrichment that come through making music together.
Working with the Director of Music, the Music Enrichment Steward will lead two important ensembles in the life of our church: the Alleluia Choir, serving children in PreK through 3rd grade, and the Jubilee Ringers handbell ensemble. The successful candidate will lead rehearsals, conduct worship performances, encourage participation, and help create welcoming opportunities for people of all ages to develop their musical gifts.
We’re looking for a collaborative, communicative music leader who enjoys working with children and volunteers and who shares our commitment to progressive Christian community, meaningful worship, learning, and broad participation in music-making.
