One Great Hour of Sharing

On March 29, 2026, Macalester Plymouth United Church will bless the One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) offering. Each of our denominations receives half of MPUC’s offering.

From the beginning, the OGHS special offering has been an ecumenical effort. While each denomination allocates its gifts differently, all use their funds to support partners worldwide with ministries that fund health, education, and agricultural development, emergency relief, refugee ministries, and both international and domestic disaster response. Today, projects supported by One Great Hour of Sharing are under way in more than one hundred countries, including the United States and Canada.
