The bilingual ensemble Son de Cuerdas presents our next program of this year's Artist Series on Sunday, June 7 at 4 pm. The trio will perform a recital showcasing a diverse and international music perspective and featuring a variety of works by renowned Western European composers as well as Latin American and Hispanic composers--both recognized and undiscovered. As part of its mission, Son de Cuerdas aims to engage Spanish-speaking communities in the Twin Cities. Established in 2023, Son de Cuerdas promotes Hispanic/Latin music through workshops, outreach, and collaborations, all fostering classical music appreciation with a multicultural lens. All proceeds benefit the MPUC music ministry program.
