The Grove Initiative is partnering with Interfaith Action of Greater St. Paul to celebrate both the MLK Day of Service and our official launch to the neighborhood!

Along with Interfaith Action, we will be joined by JustServe and the Minnesota Multifaith Network to host a Day of Service here at Macalester Plymouth United Church on January 19 from 1-4 pm. We will have both on-site and off-site service opportunities after an orientation at MPUC. Service projects include opportunities for Bridging, Livewell, Urban Village, Ronald McDonald House, The Grove Initiative, and more. The projects are primarily focused on opportunities for youth, young adults, and families, but we have several projects for all generations!

To sign up for a service project, register through Interfaith Action at MLK Day of Service by January 11. Not available to participate in a service project? You are welcome to join us for the celebration portion of the day at 1 pm. Email Michelle with questions or if you are interested in volunteering to help host the on-site opportunities.
