The Hunger Team invites you to volunteer with Loaves and Fishes. The prep and serve site is located within the Opportunity Center in downtown St Paul. This event occurs on the third Sunday of the month every other month all year round, and our next day is July 19, 2026. MPUC has supported this activity for over 40 years! It is a key church project related to food insecurity. It requires the participation of three faithful groups of volunteers. All are equally essential and sign up is necessary.

Group 1: Purchase specific groceries and deliver to church.

Group 2: Prep and cook the ingredients into a healthy and hot meal.

Group 3: Serve the meal cafeteria style to 200-250 (or more) people.
