Christine Ford

Christine Ford is a student at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, in the final year of her program.  She will be graduating with an MA in Religion and Theology and an MDiv in UCC Studies and Interreligious Chaplaincy.  During her seminary experience, she has spent time on numerous committees as well as Student Government, and she co-leads a sacred song circle, “Kor.”  

Christine holds a bachelor’s in History, with a minor in Theology from St. Catherine University where she graduated with honors in Theology.  She completed her Clinical Pastoral Education at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in March of this year and began her work at Macalester Plymouth in September.  After graduation, she will be seeking ordination in the UCC.  

Previously, Christine worshiped and worked as the nursery coordinator at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis.  In addition to her nursery duties, she worked with Downtown Congregations to End Homelessness as an intake counselor for the emergency rental assistance program and was on the planning committee for the 2018 conference  Re-Imagining: a World Without Violence for the 25th anniversary year of the Re-Imagining Conference.  

Christine lives in Richfield with her spouse, Scott, and their two children.
