Nurturing the spiritual lives of your children and youth is important to us at Macalester Plymouth. We offer a variety of age appropriate educational and other activities on Sundays during the school year beginning at 9:00am September through May, as well as a vibrant youth fellowship program.

Sunday School (lower level)Children in grades K-5 learn through the “workshop rotation” model with lessons from Power Express. Following a “gathering time” for prayer, song and offering from 9:30am to 9:45am, classes move to a different workshop each week. The workshops explore each unit's Bible story or theme through activities such as, cooking, video, art, and storytelling.
Nursery Care (Ages 0-4, main level) During the school year, paid caregivers provide infant, toddler, and pre-school care during the 9:00am church service, 9:30am Sunday School hour and the 10:45am church service. During the summer, care is available during the 9:30am church service.
Enrichment (main level) Children ages three through kindergarten are invited to participate in this engaging, music based curriculum that encourages spiritual growth, social skill development, and basic academic as well as motor development. This program is led by board-certified music therapist, Stephanie Holman.
Children are also welcome to remain in the church service and use the worship bags available in the entry.
