Communications Specialist (part-time, 10-12 hrs/wk)
We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join a creative and collaborative staff team. The Communications Specialist is a part-time, non-exempt position. This individual will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing Macalester Plymouth’s communications, which support worship services, programs, outreach, and various ministries. We expect the Communications Specialist to help develop an overarching communications strategy and to generate innovative ideas to promote Macalester Plymouth’s mission, ministries, and community engagement activities. Core responsibilities include managing, writing, and editing internal and external communications, which may include: bulletins, newsletters and announcements, marketing materials, website content, and social media content. The Communications Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all communications channels.
