They say it’s the most wonderful time of the year. But the holidays? Not always wonderful. Whether you’ve recently lost a loved one, have challenging family relationships, struggle with mental illness, or just have a hard time with this season, you know how important it is to balance the holly-jolly with time for grief, remembrance, and support.
On the near-longest night of the year, Tuesday, December 19, all are invited to gather at 7pm in the Sanctuary to sing and pray and bear witness to the shadow side of the holiday season, and to speak a word of hope into the shadows. You are welcome to invite friends and neighbors who may need a quiet, contemplative space heading into the frantic holiday season.
