Our Sunday worship service is central to our life together. It is the primary place where our faith is formed, where we encounter God, where we explore discipleship in community, and discern God’s call. The word liturgy means “the work of the people.” This is our worship service.
To that end, the worship committee reminds you that everyone can do something to contribute to our worship life. Making banners, ushering, preparing communion, serving communion, decorating the communion table, making music, straightening the pew racks, greeting people at the door, or serving as liturgist are just a few of the ways you can help.
Starting October 14, the worship committee will be launching a new effort to involve everyone in worship.
